The Secretariat of the Secretary of State is a structural subdivision of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main directions of its activity are:
- provision of the activity of the Secretary of State concerning coordination of the activity of consultative-advisory bodies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- informational-analytical provision of the activity of the Secretary of State concerning major events in the country and in the world;
- preparation of materials for reports, speeches, publications of the Secretary of State in mass media, protocol decisions for sessions of consultative-advisory bodies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted under the chairmanship of the Secretary of State;
- organisation of sessions, meetings and other events with the participation of the Secretary of State;
- organisation of meetings with and consideration of addresses of individuals and legal bodies by the Secretary of State;
- control over timely and qualitative execution of orders and instructions of the Secretary of State;
- organisation and participation in developing acts of the President within the limits of powers of the Secretary of State;
- performance of other functions according to the commissions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Secretary of State and senior staff of the Executive Office of the President.
